Leadership Development Opportunities

Being a member of the 2006-2007 Environmental Public Health Leadership Institute has been a rewarding experience.  This opportunity has allowed me to expand my existing skills as well as develop new ones.  I personally believe EPHLI has provided a tremendous personal growth experience.  One particular area that was of great benefit was the Individual Development Plan as it allowed me to concentrate on correcting habits that created distractions from my leadership abilities when dealing with co-workers.  Another outstanding benefit of the institute was the opportunity to meet valued peer professionals, mentors and trainers with whom I was able to forge friendships that will last.  I am thankful for this opportunity to be a part of the EPHLI.
