This course is part of a series designed to explain evidence-based methods used to identify and evaluate laboratory medicine best practices. This course describes basic quality improvement (QI) project planning steps that align with the LMBP™ A-6 cycle method to identify quality gaps and collect data necessary for building evidence in laboratory medicine.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Those who provide approval or support for quality improvement (QI) projects, those who are active in the design and implementation of projects, and those who influence application of evidence-based methods to QI projects.
