With a subscription profile, users can receive updated information on items of interest automatically without having to return to the website to check for changes.

Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP):

The ACIP develops written recommendations for the routine administration of vaccines to children and adults in the civilian population. These recommendations include age for vaccine administration, number of doses and dosing interval, and precautions and contraindications.

This web page contains the latest national information about vaccine supplies and provides guidance to healthcare providers who are facing vaccine shortages or delays.

Immunization-Related Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Reports (MMWR):

This web page provides vaccine and immunization information published in the MMWR and electronic journals.


ImmunizationNetConferences are live, 1-hour presentations combining an online visual presentation with simultaneous audio via telephone conference call and a live question and answer session.  These presentations, collectively titled "Current Issues in Immunization," are scheduled 4 to 5 times per year. Specific topics are announced prior to each presentation.


Each year, the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases presents at least two immunization training courses that are webcast for access on a personal computer.

Vaccine Information Statements (VISs) are information sheets produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that explain to vaccine recipients, their parents, or their legal representatives both the benefits and risks of a vaccine. Federal law requires that VISs be handed out whenever (before each dose) certain vaccinations are given.
