AAALAC International Expectations (Web on Demand)

This seminar, presented by AAALAC International faculty, will cover AAALAC Internationals expectations and guidelines in three areas: 1) animal care and use committees 2) occupational health and safety programs and 3) veterinary medical care. The following topics will be addressed during the one day seminar: performance standards to evaluate animal care and use programs and facilities semiannual program reviews semiannual facility inspections review of animal protocols and post-approval monitoring hazard identification and risk assessment medical surveillance and preventive medicine for personnel personnel training, facilities, monitoring programs, and personal protective equipment (PPE) and required components of a program of veterinary medical care.
