
Confidentiality Protection: Protecting the Privacy of Sensitive Data (Web on Demand)
Course Number: WD1415
This seminar will cover confidentiality protection and its impact on CDC research and public health practice. The focus will be on providing the participant with an introduction to confidentiality protection for sensitive data. Section 301(d) of the Public Health Service Act (Certificate of Confidentiality) and section 308(d) of the Public Health Service Act (Assurance of Confidentiality) will be covered in addition to the process for obtaining confidentiality protection for your study or program. TARGET AUDIENCE: The target audience includes investigators, scientists, program staff, human subjects contacts, ADSs, managers and senior scientific staff in need of a broad understanding of confidentiality protection.
