Clinical Manifestations and SequelaeThe most frequent symptom of VVC is vulvar pruritus. Vaginal discharge is usually thick, white, and clumpy ("cottage-cheese-like"). However, it may be watery, minimal, or not present. Vaginal soreness, irritation, vulvar burning, dsypareunia, and external dysuria are often present.
