Incident Characteristics

If desired,
bullet select individual or multiple injury event or exposure, source of injury, and secondary source of injury characteristics within a list.
bullet Incident characteristics are coded by using the BLS Occupational Injury & Illness Classification System.
bullet Queries restricted to cases with a specific 4-digit event and/or source code frequently do not return reportable results.
bullet Most cases do not have a secondary source involved.
bullet If multiple items within a list are selected, the results will be the sum of all selected subcategories.
bullet Hint: use the Group Results By feature to obtain event or source characteristics at 1 to 4-digit code levels; Do query with different group options to optimize reportable info.
