Conference held on April 26, 2006
In joint cooperation with CDC's Public Health Law Program, The Public Health Institute's own Public Health Law Program
presented a once-day conference to explore the legal
ramifications of pandemic flu and other emerging infectious diseases. Sessions addressed public health law
concerns and practice, as well as various legal challenges to private sector employers, hospitals, and other
health care providers, and state and local government agencies.
