Conferences, Summits & Workshops
The Public Health Law Program has hosted and co-hosted several meetings on law related public health issues. Since 2002, leaders in a variety of health related field have gathered to discuss topics of import, including translating Science into policy and practice, judicial and legal preparedness, health care law partners, quarantine and many, many more.
PHLP hosted their first conderefence in 2002 and continued this annual event through 2006. In 2007, the meeting was changed from a plenary style "conference" to a "summit" in which a more focused approach to specific topics with a smaller group of attendees could produce a refined guide to the topic at hand.
In addition, PHLP has had ongoing workshops that help implement guides or training programs.
