General Rule #3

All vaccines can be administered at
the same visit as all other vaccines.

DO NOT MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO VACCINATE!

There are many missed opportunities for vaccination caused by the mistaken belief that different vaccines cannot be given at the same time. Simultaneous administration of all vaccines for which a person is eligible is very important in child and adult vaccination programs because it makes it more likely that the person will be fully immunized at the appropriate age.

Your baby is getting Hib, polio,
MMR, varicella, pneumococcal, and
influenza shots today. It seems like
a lot of shots, but they will be done
quickly and your baby will be
protected against these diseases.
