Abstract
Through a combination of work practices, appropriate selection of artificial nail materials, and a ventilated manicure table, it is easy to reduce hazardous exposures in the salon. However, proper maintenance of the ventilation system; good housekeeping; and trained technicians, who know the correct use of equipment, are all necessary for the greatest exposure reduction.
