NIOSHTIC No. 20026346
AbstractUnimin Corp. and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health recently conducted a cooperative research project. The result is an improved method for cleaning dust-soiled work clothing at mineral processing operations. This clothes-cleaning process was implemented in the milling facility at Unimin's Marston Operation in Marston, NC. From testing at this facility, it has been proven that this technique is a quick, safe, and effective method to clean dust-soiled work clothing.
