The entire Environmental Public Health Leadership institute program has been an incredible experience. It has been an honor, highlight and blessing in my life to be a part of something so great. The various components of the Environmental Public Health Leadership institute have assisted me in improving professionally as an environmental health practitioner by providing me with the tools for increased personal and professional improvement. The program has assisted me to continue making improvements on my personal leadership development. Most importantly I think leaders need the ability to problem solve and the Environmental Public Health Leadership institute program has enhanced this skill. The other fellows in the program have also added additional value to the program because you also get to learn from their experiences. I have benefited by collaborating with various fellows in the program during the year. The EPHLI staff is amazing and has done a great job. My mentor for the program has been fantastic in his guidance not only for myself but for my team as well. The Environmental Public Health Leadership institute has provided additional knowledge which will assist me throughout my professional career and I have made some great friends that I hope to keep in touch with for the rest of my life. |
