Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Update: Syphilis and other Bacterial and Viral Infections (Web on Demand)

Goal: To increase the awareness of trends in STI morbidity in our catchment area (DC, DE, GA, MD, PA, TN, VA, WV and surrounding areas and to offer training in clinical care, medical management and diagnosis, behavioral techniques and partner management activities to clinical health care providers, utilizing didactic methods, presenting the most current information, and implementing research findings regarding STIs.
TARGET AUDIENCE: MD, NP, PA, RN, health educators, counselors, social workers, addictions counselors, administrators, CHES counselors, do, epidemiologists, lpn, medical assistants, program managers, and other healthcare professionals
PREREQUISITES: Providers offering clinical care in their local area to individuals infected or at risk for sexually transmitted infections are the target audience. Physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, nurse clinicians, physician assistants have priority. We would also like to include health educators and providers working in public health.
